We are partnering with a major matcha factory from Uji, Kyoto, and they were gracious enough to show us a number of examples of matcha sweets that are popular in Kyoto (using their matcha of course).
While still a small business of around 60 employees, unlike our other other vendors who sell retail in Japan, this new partner is a traditional supplier who provides teas for other brands. So, we’ll be launching our own house brand soon to be able to provide the world with master blender created, excellent quality, certified organic, Japanese matcha tea powder as well as sencha / houjicha / genmaicha from Uji, Kyoto!
