SHOW COLLECTION DESCRIPTION (コレクションの説明を表示する)

You’ve just discovered Japanese tea, most likely green tea, and you’re ready to learn more. Let’s get started!

Knowledge and experience

Knowledge and experience create expertise as you aspire toward connoisseurship. Yunomi.life was built in part to make the entire Japanese tea industry as easily accessible to tea lovers around the world as it is to Japanese speakers living in Japan. At Yunomi.life you will find hundreds of tea products from dozens of tea farms and factories throughout Japan. It's overwhelming, we know. So this collection was built as a curated selection for tea drinkers at different levels. More sets for those who want to learn are available in our Dojo Collection.

Get Started

For those of you who are just getting started - You'd like to explore more, but you don't know where to start. We suggest one of the sampler sets in this collection. If you don't need to start at the very beginning (the Starting Point sets), try the Lesson 105 (Variety Set) or Lesson 106 (Quality Spectrum). Read Blog: Selecting Your Very First Japanese Teas

Ready to explore

Ready to explore - Japanese tea is largely about differences that arise from different production processes (See the Guide to Japanese Tea). If you know the differences between teas made with different production techniques (the various levels of shading, steaming, sorting, roasting), it's time to explore in-depth. You'll need to taste widely and frequently to experience as many teas as you can. For the explorer, we have the Ultimate Set.
